Read this carefully before using Tradancy.

Not investment advice

Tradancy is a software tool that generates and runs trading strategy code. It is not registered as an investment advisor, broker-dealer, or fiduciary. Nothing you see on this platform — generated strategies, backtest charts, risk labels, AI explanations, or any other output — is investment advice, a solicitation, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security.

Trading risk

Trading securities involves substantial risk of loss. You can lose more than you invest. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Markets can move against you sharply, suddenly, and unpredictably. Before deploying any strategy with real money, you should understand the mechanics of what you're doing and be prepared to lose your entire investment.

AI-generated code can be wrong

Strategies are generated by large language models. They can produce code that:

You are responsible for reviewing every strategy before activating it. Don't run code you don't understand against money you can't afford to lose.

Backtests are not real returns

Backtest results are historical simulations using past price data. They do not account for: real-world slippage beyond our default model, market impact, partial fills, halts, broker outages, news events, regime changes, or your specific tax situation. A strategy that backtested well can lose money in live trading. Always assume real returns will be worse than backtested returns.

Paper trading only at launch

At initial launch, Tradancy executes strategies only against Alpaca's paper-trading environment, with simulated money. No real funds are at stake while in paper mode. If real-money trading becomes available in the future, it will require additional acknowledgments and safeguards.

Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for your trading decisions, the strategies you generate or activate, the credentials you connect, the funds in your brokerage account, and any tax consequences of trades placed through the platform. Consult a licensed financial advisor before making investment decisions involving real money.
